We all know how many great classic rock bands emanated from the huge musical movements in the 1970's. These classic rock bands were a huge part of American culture and helped shaped the way we saw and felt about ourselves and our nation. I am sure that everybody has their favorites when it comes to classic rock bands. Here is one of the greatest of classic rock bands of all time, well at least in my opinion.
Led Zeppelin: Jimmy Page and Robert Plant really tore thing up in this awesome band, however the untimely separation between the members during the bands later years left the country both depressed and anxious to for more great classic rock bands. However with the 80's looming, the era for great classic rock bands was surely coming to an end. Exit "Stairway to Heaven" and enter Depech' Mode.
One thing to keep in mind about Led Zeppelin was the way that Paige and Plant change how music was seen and heard. Other bands such as Aerosmith and the Chili Peppers have frequently been noted for fashioning their early musical styles off of great classic rock bands such as this.
