Ted Nugent started his career as a hard rock guitarist in Detroit, Michigan. He may be more known for his love of hunting now but he created some classic rock songs including the awesome guitar solo in "Stranglehold". I found this video of "Stranglehold" being performed in a 1976 live show. Do you remember hearing this song on classic rock stations? At the 3:00 minute mark the Nuge starts the amazing guitar solo.
