Classic rock songs are those ones that you hear and they grab a hold of your soul and just don't let go. The Joe Walsh composition Rocky Mountain Way does that for me. The first time I heard it, I was just blown away by the sheer fun of the song and Walsh's incredible slide and vocoder work. Talking guitar, what a trip.

Joe is your classic one of a kind guy. He is not afraid to poke fun at himself, yet he is an amazing guitarist. What is even more amazing is how he was able to create and play classic rock songs in a constant state of inebriation. I'm glad that he has found sobriety and I hope that we will be able to listen to him for a long time to come.
