There are some classic rock songs that all classic rock stations play, namely Stairway to Heaven, Strawberry Fields Forever, One of These Nights, and For Your Love. These songs have been around a long time, and are true classics. There is some debate as to the top 100 classic rock songs, and everyone seems to have a different list. I guess anyone's top 100 classic rock songs depends on their taste in rock and roll. Some people like the mellower styles of rock, while others prefer the harder edge music, like acid rock. My taste leans toward the quieter, softer songs, and the acid rock makes me very edgy, so I tend not to listen to stations that play that style of rock and roll. Classic rock stations will probably be around forever, since this genre of music made its debut around 40 years ago. Some of it is timeless in content, and some of the songs extremely moving. Almost all cities and towns have classic rock stations on the radio, so when you're away from home, tune in, and hear your favorite songs
