Who doesn't recall making out with their girlfriend in the back seat of an old beat up car that was your first car in high school—all to your favorite classic rock songs? Well if you never experienced that it was quite a time...for whoever it happened to and whatever point in the past twenty years that it did. The truth of the matter is classic rock songs have shaped our lives, expressed our emotions with sung words and really placed and emphasis on the values of poetry in motion and musical expression. Let's face it though, unfortunately classic rock songs are a thing of the past—thank goodness you can still listen to them though.
1. Classic rock songs like "Hotel California" are simply timeless, they will never go away!
2. Who can forget Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper" and who can forget the SNL (Saturday Night Life) skit about more cowbell starring Will Ferrell.
3. Some of the best songs ever written are classic rock songs—which unfortunately do not get written as much today—thank god for bands like Aerosmith.
