There are lots of good classic rock stations on the Internet right now, and finding one that plays the kind of classic rock songs that you enjoy is an adventure in good listening. My family's musical tastes lean toward country and classical, but once in a while we enjoy listening to classic rock stations for music that is a little snappier than either one of these styles. Finding a good station is trial and error, and of course, the best ones have the fewest commercials and play the artists that we like the best, like The Beatles, The Eagles, Red Hot Chili Pepper, Santana, and the Grateful Dead.
We also watch classic rock videos once in a while that we rent, but really, we've found it's easier to just find video clips online on an individual basis. The videos add a dimension to the song that would otherwise be lacking, and some classic rock songs are actually much better heard while watching the video. We have invested in pretty decent sound equipment for our computers, so the playback is terrific, and have abandoned our traditional stereo, and just listen online now.
