Are you a fan of classic rock songs? My husband loves all of the old songs by classic rock bands. They remind him of his youth and make him feel nostalgic. My husband also commutes for over an hour each day when he goes to and from work. When he isn’t listening to audio books to pass the time during his commute, he tunes in to classic rock stations on the radio. He has access to more of his favorite classic rock stations since I bought him a Sirius Satellite Radio for Christmas a few years back. My husband also tunes in to classic rock stations when we travel to see his family in the western region of the state of Maryland. He likes to sing along. It sometimes gets on my nerves because he looks like a total dork when he does it. Furthermore, he’s tone deaf so his singing sounds terrible. However, I try to tolerate it, at least for a little while, because I know that listening to these classic rock songs gives him pleasure. I only wish he were as open-minded about my penchant for jazz and R&B.
